Reiki is an ancient touch therapy for relaxation and pain relief that also promotes healing. Reiki is administered through a very gentle touch and also by holding the palms close to the body of the effected areas, along the energy centres and areas such as the head, neck, shoulders, upper chest, abdomen, legs and feet while the patient is sitting or lying down and fully clothed.

By lightly placing the hands next to and along the body the practitioner channels healing energy to the patient to relieve physical and emotional pain and to promote spiritual clarity. Reiki energy aids in healing and balances the body's energy at physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Its purpose is to restore the harmony lacking between the mind, body and spirit.

Different systems of energy healing have emerged in different parts of the world. There are many misconceptions that Reiki is a religion and that it has the power to create black magic. The truth is reiki is not a religion nor does it promote black magic. It is also important to mention many masters teaching reiki today have created their own system using reiki symbols and combined them with various spiritual techniques from yoga which disturbs the astral body and can create severe consequences for the body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. • Level 1 : You will learn to diagnose diseases and to treat them by using your hands (laying the hands on the body of the patient or by keeping them close to the body). The Reiki energy will flow from your hands and will heal the person you are acting on. The energy is capable of healing animals, plants, and it can energize the objects surrounding you. The energy flows from the hands, but we cannot direct it at will to any place other than towards the object located under our hands.

• Kundalini Reiki is a superior form of Reiki discovered by Ole Gabrielsen (Denmark), Master of meditation. It is the result of his experience with Ascended Master Kuthumi. He took different techniques from the Yoga system and applied them to the Reiki system and the result is this Kundalini Reiki system.

• In Kundalini Reiki you will be able to access in a safe and gentle way the fundamental energy of your body - Kundalini energy - to raise it from the base of the spine to the top of your head. The system has 2 student levels and one Master Level. In Kundalini Reiki, there is one Reiki symbol that will be taught at the Master Level.

• Initially the Usui Reiki system was the most known Reiki system. After 1980 many other types of Reiki appeared. Because it was about working with energies there were some Reiki practitioners who wanted to obtain similar results with the ones obtained when practicing Tummo and Kundalini meditations. The result of their work is the Tummo Reiki system and the Kundalini Reiki System. They do not bring effects with the same intensity but the effects are obvious.
